Soundsations has performed at hundreds of weddings and other events in Edmonton and all over Alberta and has the experience and know-how to read a room and play to you and your guest’s preferences. We use only professional grade sound systems, wireless microphones and the highest quality digital music for powerful and crystal clear sound. Our systems are scalable so that we can provide audio coverage for just about any sized event in any space indoors or outdoors.
We also provide amazing dancefloor lighting and effects that work in synch with the beat of the music and transform your event space from boring to fun and exciting!
Our huge licensed digital music library covers many genres and styles. We subscribe to one of the worlds largest DJ record pools so If we don’t already have a requested song, there’s a good chance we can find what you’re looking for. And no, we don’t rely on streaming services for music, so even if the internet is spotty or non-existent, we have it covered.
You can have as much or as little input into the playlist as you want. We are experts at reading a crowd and figuring out what gets them moving but we are also happy to take directions from our customers. We always encourage guest requests and try to incorporate as many as we can into the music mix. We love to interact with guests with games and contests but we also know when to keep quiet and let the music do the work.

Photo-booths are super popular at weddings or any type of event. For weddings, we will design and make a backdrop banner with your names and wedding date, and just about any design and colours you can imagine. We also bring a ton of fun props for your guests to pose with.
Photo-booths are a big hit at corporate or school events too. We will custom design a backdrop banner with your corporate or school logo and any kind of message and graphics and you can dream of!
Our photo-booths use a touch screen interface that guests can operate themselves. After posing for photos, guests can enter their mobile phone numbers or email address on the touch screen and the photos will be sent to them within seconds. All photos from the event are auto uploaded and saved to a web album so you get access to view, share and download all the fun photos from the event.
Karaoke
Spice up your party with karaoke! Whether it’s a wedding, a birthday, anniversary or holiday function, karaoke is sure to add fun to the party. We bring the sound system, a big screen for lyrics, microphones and a library of 50 thousand plus karaoke tracks in all different genres and styles.

This was the first time at this location for Soundsations and everything turned out awesome. This is a great venue for a small to medium sized wedding. This particular wedding only had about 80 guests so there was plenty of room for a dance floor and the DJ setup. The couple did a great job with decorating using lights and sheer fabrics.
